The Post Office, which operates like India Post, is a postal system operated by the government in India; in general it is known in India as “the post office”. The postal service is in charge of the Post Office, which is part of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Government of India. The main body of the department is the Postal Service Board, which consists of a president and six members. The six board members govern personnel, operations, technology, postal life insurance, human resources development (HRD) and planning. 1. Read the notification carefully before applying online for the job profile, other eligibility conditions and selection criteria, etc.

2.  A candidate can request a maximum of twenty publications throughout India per online participation cycle. This, among other things, means that a potential candidate can request twenty publications in a single application distributed in one or more Circles. This limit of twenty posts includes vacancies that arise in the Candidate’s Circle of Origin. Home Circle means belonging or native state / domicile of a potential candidate in which you permanently reside and that Circular Circle is providing opportunity. Therefore, candidates must exercise due care by using the twenty options available to him / her in each cycle. However, only one publication will be offered for each Circle if he / she has requested one or more publications in each Circle.

3. Once registered, the same mobile phone number will not be allowed for future registrations of other candidates as well. In case a duplicate Record is found by altering the basic details, all the candidatures related to said Records will be eliminated to consider the selection.

4.   The high school exam pass certificate of the tenth standard with passing grades in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any School Board of Education recognized by the Government of India / State Governments / Territories of the Union in India will be compulsory Educational qualification for all Gramin Dak Sevaks approved categories.

5.  The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to the tenth standard [as compulsory or optional subjects] as declared by the State Government or according to the constitutional provisions related to the eighth calendar of the Constitution of India.
